Description: Folder 8842 in Box 174 of Knox County Circuit Court records at the Knox County Public Library’s McGrady-Brockman House contains three documents in the case of State of Indiana vs. Yorick McGilpin. In February 1867 McGilpin, a man of color was indicted for keeping a gaming house. The documents consist of the indictment, the arrest warrant, and summons for witnesses for the state Wm. Rollins, a man of color, Edwin Sellers, and Pendleton Morris.
