Knox County court record Isaac Mass vs Yorick McGilpin, 1849

Description: Isaac Mass says that Yorick McGilpin signed a promissory note in the amount of one hundred and ninety two dollars and thirty eight cents to be paid back within twelve months. The property was bought without any appraisement laws for lots 142 and 208 in Vincennes. The mortgage record was received October 18, 1849 and was recorded in mortgage book No. 1 page 37, and signed by Robert Buntin, Recorder for Knox County. The amount now owed is $90.31 after a payment of $122.00 was paid on February 18, 1851 plus interest due of $17. 31was added on February 10, 1851 and $2.41 in interest was added on February 20th.
