How to renovate old pipes.Williams home, Katheryne Connelly being theinitiate. ■ALPHA.The following officers were elected for theAlpha section of the Womens League for thewinter term 1914-15 leader, Ruth Colliver vice-leader and temporary treasurer, FlorenceFox and, secretary, Marie Hazelrigg.The section has held three social functions a theatre party followed by a luncheon at thehome of Ruth Colliver an alumni party at thehome of Florence Fox and initiation at HelenEPSILON DELTA.The Epsilon Deltas were entertained byEdith Andrews and Gertrude Freed, January10, by taking them to the American afterwhich they had luncheon at Valentines. Theywere next entertained by Bertha Harris andHallie Farmer. They were taken to theOrpheum and had luncheon at Valentines.Edna Taggart and May Wells entertainedthe section at their home on North Fifth street.After games and contests, refreshments wereserved.GAMMA GAMMA.The Gamma Gammas held their initiationon January twenty-third, at the home of MissMary Frazier. A number of the alumnae werepresent. A dinner was served after the initiation. The new members taken in were Berna-dine Good and Harriet Hubbard.The regular monthly party of the sororitywas held on Friday, January twenty-ninth, atthe home of Miss Nadine Reed. Each memberearned her supper with a stunt. Helen Hitchreceived the prize.At the February meeting the sorority willbe entertained by Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs.Rhoads.KAPPA-KAPPA.The Kappa Kappa Sorority was hostess fora winter picnic at the home of Miss MargaretBrubeck, on Thursday evening, from 4 til 7.All of the active members were present withfive other guests. The next rush party was atheatre party at the American, followed by aluncheon at Valentines. |
