Markley were guests.Miss Estelle Doerschuck and Coradel Wadewere guests at the dance given in Indianapolis,December 28, by the Phi Delta Sigma Soror-iety of which they are members.KAPPA.The Kappa girls were hostesses for a partyDecember 11, at 414 North Sixth Street, Thehouse was made attractive by decorations ofKappa colors, scarlet and olive green,,and college pennants.Games were played throughout the evening,after which refreshments were served. Thosepresent were Mary Hamilton, Ora Presnell,Eva Davis, Norma and Minerva Kellogg, EthelDixon, Corinne Rielag, Alice Bullington, AlmaSittasson, Mary Newhouse, Cloe Houghton,Lorena Reiley, Alice Kelsey, Mildred Butler,Eleanor Stoy, and Blanche Trueblood Messrs.Baxter, Schorling, Stirwalt, Winkler, Cane,Brunner, Brennon, Negley, Schoeppel, Webb,Rowe, James, Crawford and Winfield Fox.Miss Eva Davis entertained with a tea during the holidays. The afternoon was delightfully spent in conversation and music. Thosepresent were Eva Davis, Ora Presnell, Minervaand Normal Kellogg, Flossie Keith, Edna andElsie Kirchkoff, Corinne Rielag, Ethel Dixon,and Blanche Trueblood.Miss Ora Presnell entertained the Vincennesgirls of the Kappa Section New Years Evewith a watch party. The evening was enjoy-ably spent and New Years resolutions weremade by all as the bells announced the exit ofthe old year. Luncheon was served at the sametime.The Misses Cloe Houghton, Alice Bullington,Alma Sittasson, Eleanor Stoy and Mary New-house, entertained with a fudge party, January9, at the Mansion House. The guests of theSection were the Misses Bonsell, Corning,Broadhurst, OConner, Grafton, Oberchainand Lovett.The Misses Ora Presnell, Norma andMinerva Kellogg are not in school this term.LE CEYGJAS.The Le Ceygjas Chapter of the WomansLeague gave a party Jan .6 at the Association House, 414 North Sixth Street. The evening was spent in playing games, among whichwere guessing contests. Music was furnishedby Miss Bessie Smith. The most interestingfeature of the evening was the dressing of peanut dolls to represent Chinamen. Refreshments were served after which the guests departed, having spent an enjoyable evening.Those present were the Misses Walter, Butler, Garman, Rinehart, Cope, Carter, McCord,Elliott, Pletcher, Lovett, Markley, Kendall,Hoover, Miller, Anderson, Myrtle and BessieSmith.LLAMARADA.On the evening of December 10, 1908, theLlamaradas were delightfully entertained byMiss Adda Allen. During the evening each ofthe girls tried her favorite candy recipe, withgreat success. The guests were then invited tothe dining room where a great surprise awaitedthem in the way of a delicious oyster supper.The room was decorated in red streamers andXmas bells. Two wide red ribbons crossed thetable diagonally and in the center stood a miniature Santa Claus. At each place was a menu |
