Candlesand cut flowers added to the attractiveness ofthe table, but left plenty of room for an abundance of good eats.LLAMARADA.The Llamarada girls were hostesses for aparty, which was given at the home of LoraLove, 1709 S. 10th St., on Saturday, Nov. 21.Each guest came representing some book. Afterward, stories were written including the titlesrepresented. This afforded much merriment.A flower contest followed. The prizes for thecontests were, won by Margaret Lahey andJanette Lamb. Punch was served throughoutthe evening. The colors of the Section, greenand white were carried out in the refreshments,which were cream, ices, cakes, mints andfudges.Those present were Mayble- Lovett, LoraLove, Orrelle Fidlar, Adda Allen, Orpha Cole,Anna Paul, Lena Wilson, Zita Coughlin, AliceReems, Mae Lamb, Janette Lamb and MargaretLahey Messrs. Clippenger, Schoeppel,Schockel, Thurston, Powell, Ryan, Fishback,Barbre, Reems and Porter.MU ZETA.On the afternoon of Saturday, November 21,the Mu Zetas held their term initiation at thehome of Miss Emma Abbott. The stunts required of the new girls were very strenuousand were the cause of much merriment. Themembers taken into the Section at this meetingwere Jessie Sigler, Juliet Howard, Marie Corbett, Minnie Hoberg, Helen Froeb, KatherineKester, Florence Cadden, Regine Shultz andMiss Laura Minturn. Miss Helen Connor, whoon account of illness could not be present, hasbeen held over for the winter term initiation.Miss Florence Cadden entertained the MuZeta girls at her home Saturday afternoon,November 28, in honor of Miss Isabelle Cadden, a former Mu Zeta, who is now teaching inthe Orleans High School, and who spentThanksgiving with her parents. The afternoon was enjoy ably spent in conversation andmusic, and was followed by a temptingluncheon.Miss Alice Bentham was hostess for a theaterparty Saturday afternoon, December 5. Afterthe performance the guests were invited toCampbells Cafe, where a delicious three-courseluncheon was served. The members presentwere: Mrs. Ben Reveal, who was formerlyMiss Alice Pound, Misses Gossman, Marshall,Corbett, Schmidt, Abbett, Kester, Hall, Connor, Froeb, Cadden, Hoberg and Bentham.Miss Elizabeth Ellis was a guest of the Section.Regrets were received from the Misses Shultz,Minturn, Sigler, Hodgers and Way. Miss LillieBentham and Miss Edith Tressel chaperonedthe party.MYOSOTIS.The Myosotis girls entertained their friendsat the home of Miss Waller on the evening ofNovember 21, 1908, with a chafing-dish party.The evening was spent in music, making fudgeand in various other amusements.Four new members, the Misses Cortez andFayette Luzader, Anabelle Walters and GraceGraves have been added to the Section. Theytook the Myosotis vow on Saturday evening,December 5, at the home of Miss Clara Best.PI ZETA.The Pi Zetas gave a unique entertainment inthe form of an Affinity Hunt, November 30,at the home of Miss Glen Gobin. The favorsand decoration were carried out in blue andyellow, the Section colors.
