All members wdio make either a foot ball,basket ball, base ball or track team squad, and whocome regularly to practice throughout the season.2nd. All members who make 300 or more pointsin a pentathlon.3rd. All members who win a first place in anyevent in an. interclass field meet.The symbol of this second degree of athletic attainment shall be the I. S. N. monogram worn onthe sweater. The monogram shall be either whiteor Yale-blue.Section IV.The managers of the foot ball team for the fallterm, the basket ball team for the winter term, andthe base ball team for the spring term, the manager of the track team, and the physical director,shall constitute a committee throughout the year,which shall be known as the awarding committee. It shall be the duty of this committee tomeet soon after the close of the foot ball, the basket ball, and the base ball seasons, and after theinter class field meet and the State Field Meet,and to bestow the degree and the privilege ofwearing the monogram upon those whom theyjudge have qualified according to this amendment.They shall report the same to the secretary of theathltic association, which report the secretary shallrecord in the secretarys book and read at the nextmeeting of the association.Section V.Any person wearing either of the above mentioned monograms, except the privilege be grantedhim according to the provisions of this amendment, shall be considered- as inviting the contemptand ridicule of all members of the Athletic Association.WILLIAM S. The I. S. N. is looking forward to the base ballseason with considerable interest and expectancy.Last year we had a much stronger team than weever had before.
