Saturday, February21st, they play Shortridge High School of Indianapolis, in the Normal gymnasium, and play thereturn game in Indianapolis March 7th.The return game with Charleston, which was tohave been Monday, February 16th, was cancelled,because some of the Charleston team will notplay any more out of town games this season.Other games will probably be played with DePauw and the Crawfordsville High School.THE MONOGRAM AMENDMENT The following was reported by the committeeon monograms, and adopted by the general assembly at the Indiana State Normal Athletic Association, January 24, 1903:Section I.In order to encourage our students to> take anactive part in athletics, the Athletic Associationwill hereafter confer upon its members the privilege of .wearing certain school emblems.There shall be two degrees of athletic attainment and a distinct symbol for each.Section II.The first and highest degree shall include:1st. All players who make and continue to holdduring the rest of the season, a place on the firstschool team of either basket ball, foot ball, baseball, or the track and field teams, unless such aplayer be so disabled in a game as to be unable toplay throughout the season.2nd, Managers of the football, the basket ball,and base ball teams, and the manager of the schooltrack team.3rd.
