Shephard, 00, is a successful principalof the High school at Greentown, Ind.Miss Aimee Robertson, 02, teacher in the Brazil schools, and Mr. Gunder, were married NewYears eve. They now make their home in Jackson, Michigan.Samuel Sharp, principal of North Side school,Columbus, Indiana, writes for The Normal Advance. Mr. Sharp teaches seventh and eighthgrades and is very successful.It comes to us that Ikey Lewis missed the lastcar Saturday night while skating out east of townand walked home.Stewart L. McDonald, 99, who was formerly ateacher in the public schools of Fort Collins, Col.,is now instructor in the State Agricultural College at that place.Miss Bess White, through Sophomore, is teaching in her home town, Pendleton.Robert Smith, 01
is teaching in the FairmontHigh school.August Reifel, 99, is superintendent of theFranklin county schools. He was elected to fillthe vacancy upon the resignation of ProfessorSenour.Prof. Lawrence McTurnan, at present the superintendent of the Alexandria city schools, hasbeen appointed chief deputy to Prof. Fassett A.Cotton, state superintendent-elect of public instruction. Mr. McTurnan graduated from theState Normal in 97, and has since been rapidlypushing to the front in educational affairs. Heserved as co:unty superintendent of Madisoncounty almost a term of four years, but resignedto accept the superintendency at Alexandria. Hewill finish out the years work at that place beforeentering upon his new duties. Mr. McTurnanwas an exceptionally good student and a popularyoung man while in the State Normal and hisfriends wish him continued success. Supt. Cotton lacked but a few weeks of finishing his coursehere previous to the time of his appointment aschief deputy state superintendent. We predictsuccess for these two worthy young men and feelthat the states educational affairs are safe in theirhands.Miss Katherine Chilton, 96, is the successfulassistant principal of the Connersville Highschool. Judge Boggs, 02, is a popular and progressive ward principal in the same schools.Manager Henry has arranged games of basketball with I. U.
