One evening before the notable sleighing party of a fewdays ago he took the official list of students andfaculty and marked the names of those that probably were not engaged for the evening. After agood list had been starred he spent the time faithfully in ringing door bells, lifting his hat andsaying good by until the list was nearly exhausted. At last one answering by a name beginning with W saw the disappointment on hisface and kindly consented to take the place he hadreserved in the sleigh. He says now that thisplan brings results, but is rather expensive anddisappointing.
