Letter to Theodore Debs, 12/03/1944. Writes that he received the reproduction of the oil painting of Eugene V. Debs. Says that he has received a grand letter from George Brewer and will be visiting him after Christmas. Remarks that he has also received information from John Work and Louis Copeland. Informs Theodore Debs that he is having some difficulties with Samuel Castleton. Remarks that when he met with Samuel Castleton in Boston, Massachusetts that Castleton promised to give him information for his book. Says that now Samuel Castleton is going around telling people that he is writing a biography of Eugene V. Debs life. Informs Theodore Debs that he is afraid that Samuel Castleton will get in way. Asks that Theodore Debs talk to Samuel Castleton and get him to cooperate with him. |
