Stone, Irving; 1945-06-25

Description: Letter to Marguerite Debs Cooper on Paramount Picture, Inc. letterhead, 06/25/1945. Writes that he appreciated Coopers letter in which she upheld Theodore Debs position regarding the book proposed by Samuel Castleton. Assures Cooper that he has been working on his book about Eugene V. Debs. Mentions that for the last few weeks he has been working on a screenplay of IMMORTAL WIFE. Says that he is writing the screenplay himself because he wants the film to be true to his book. Remarks that if his book about Eugene V. Debs is ever made into a movie that he will want Marguerite Debs Cooper and Gertrude Debs to get a cut of its profits. Informs Cooper that Jean Stone was involved in a car accident but is fine now.
