Description: Letter to Theodore Debs, 12/17/1944. Says that he has been on a bond selling tour for the Treasury Department. Writes that he is sorry to learn that Theodore Debs health is not well. Assures Theodore Debs that he has begun working on his book about Eugene V. Debs. Tells Theodore Debs that he has received valuable contributions from J. W. Work, Dan Hoan, Louis Copeland, Florence Kirkpatrick, Anna Strunsky Walling, Robert Heinl, Frank OHare, A. W. Ricker, and Adolph Germer. Says that he was glad that Theodore Debs wrote to Samuel Castleton. Remarks that the best thing that he could do about the Samuel Castleton situation is to forget about it.
