There are two men in all black standing in the yard conversing over a piece of paper. A buggy is in the road leading to the sawmill with the light brown horse with a white nose and white feet. There is a woman in all black driving the buggy. There is a woman in a blue dress and black coat walking down the road to the sawmill with a silver bucket. There are two buggies on the road leading to the farm in the distance. The farm in the distance has four white buildings with brown roofing. Large trees line the road leading the farm. The title of the painting, Eli Shirks Saw Mill is located in the middle of the bottom edge in black. The date is located in the bottom left corner with the location of the painting in black. Schrocks signature is the bottom right corner in a dark blue. |
