Triptych R

Description: This painting depicts a buggy driving down a country lane with a farm as the background. The sky is a similar shade as those in ES.022 and ES.023 with wispy clouds. The farm in the background has three different buildings visible. On the far left, there is a white farmhouse with a green roof and red chimney. Trees in shades of green and yellow cover most of the front view of the house and lane. The second building next to the farmhouse is a large red barn with green roofing and an addition in green rising from the roof of the barn in a light green. There is an electrical tower that can be seen above the barn. To the right of the barn, there is a long grey/green building that covers from the center of the painting to the right edge. The building has many windows and could be used to house animals or storage. The top of this building has many air openings in red and gray. There is a cone-like roof that can be seen behind this long building suggesting a grain storage building behind the building. The left side of the painting has a flower bed in front of the farmhouse next to the lane. This flower bed has larger standing white flowers and pink flowers with green leaves below the white. The pink flowers and green leaves are accented with glitter in a similar color to the flowers and leaves. The road in front of the farm is gray with white and green lines separating the two sides. A buggy with a family is being pulled to the right by a light brown horse. The man driving is in all black with a boy in all brown sitting next to him in the front seat. The second row of seats has a woman in navy holding a small child in all pink with a small child in blue sitting next to the woman. Schrocks signature is in the bottom left corner in blue.
