East side of Hinkle Fieldhouse as viewed from the Butler Bowl

Description: This photograph of the east side of Hinkle Fieldhouse was taken from the Butler Bowl (later renamed the Bud and Jackie Sellick Bowl). To the left of the seating in the football stadium is the entrance to a tunnel, which leads to the basement of Hinkle Fieldhouse. When both structures opened in 1928, this tunnel enabled the use of the one set of locker rooms for both facilities.
