People in the Campus Club (C-Club)

Description: People are working or sitting at tables in the Campus Club (C-Club). Located on the lower level of Atherton Union, the C-Club originally opened in 1950, but it has been remodeled many times. The C-Club sold meals and snacks and offered students a place to gather and hold events. The 1991 Drift, Butler Universitys yearbook, describes recent renovations to the C-Club, which are shown in this photograph. A raised floor, brass trim and blue booth and chair cushions were added to the C-Club. The store also added Pizza Hut, Dunkin Donuts and Columbo Frozen Yogurt to its list of suppliers. Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas were a welcomed addition to the C-Club. The pizzas could be purchased, or taken in place of supper for students with meal plans (p. 11).
