Painted by Jessie Marie Goth, the oil painting later hung over a fireplace in Atherton Union, which was named after Atherton, who served for 26 years as the secretary-treasurer for the University. A label on the front of the photograph names the individuals, 28 is handwritten above the label, and tape remnants are on the corners.
