Description: |
Balloons line the sidewalks in honor of the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the expanded bookstore and the addition of the campus Starbucks, which occurred on Friday, September 3, 1999. A few people stand near a table topped with coffee urns and decorated with plants. When the coffee shop opened, it was the first full-retail Starbucks in Indianapolis. During the grand opening, prizes were given away including CD players, t-shirts, and mountain bikes. To the right of Atherton Union, a portion of Schwitzer Hall is visible. |
