Butler Bookstore and Starbucks grand opening

Description:	Two people stand at the entrance to the newly expanded Butler Bookstore in Atherton Union during the grand opening on Friday, September 3, 1999. Grand opening banners and balloons are displayed in the store. Both the store and the campus Starbucks were part of a new addition to the north side of the building. When the coffee shop opened, it was the first full-retail Starbucks in Indianapolis. Behind the people, the Butler Seal on the floor was a senior class gift from the Class of 1999. The limestone wall and window in the background are part of the original portion of the building. During the grand opening, prizes were given away including CD players, t-shirts, and mountain bikes.
