Description: A color photograph of the street signs at the intersection of 13th Street and College Avenue in Indianapolis. The signs mark what was the original home of Butler University from 1855 until 1875. Now called the College Avenue campus, this was the Universitys first of three campuses. While located here, the University still went by its original name, North Western Christian University.
