Students held a benefit concert and soldcolorful friendship bracelets to raisemoney. The money raised was givento an organization that helps childrensuffering from the genocide. Braceletswere made during meetings held inMs. Sheila McDermott-Sipes room.Junior Rebecca Aleman said, Themeetings were pretty laid back, we allsat around and talked about what wecould do as a club to help others.STAND let students express themselves and learn how to help otherseven if they were thousands of milesaway.
