Two years membership inthe B band is required for entrance into the Aband.Performing in the Ellettsville Fall Festival parade andthe annual city Halloween parade were among theactivities for the organization during the first semester.They combined with the A band for the final homefootball game to present a halftime show entitled, Salute to Sousa.The band was led by Drum Major Kenny Simpson, amember of the A band, preparing for the drummajors duties of the A band next year. The majorettes were Donna Burroughs, Joyce Anderson, and Evelyn Salee.Officers were Burlen Miller, president; Bob Colgan, vicepresident; Chattie Shields, secretary-treasurer; ThomasRoberts, attendance clerk; Ronald Chandler and JamesMahler, librarians. Mr. Edgar L.
