Hamilton County Docket Book 1879-1892, Volume 9

Description:	Hamilton County Docket Book, Volume 9 predates the Noblesville Mayor Docket Books. It was a donation to the library back in 2010. The cases in this volume were heard by various justices in the White River Township. No cases from the other county townships were included. We scanned all the index pages as they were numbered but very few of them had text. The names of the defendants appear to be scattered throughout the index pages. The first court case record begins on page 29, dated 15 October 1879. The last case in the book is on page 86. The volume had 400 pages but the remaining blank pages (pages 87 - 400) were not scanned as there were no court cases recorded on them. We labeled this volume as Volume 9 as it was the ninth volume scanned. However, this particular book is separate from the Noblesville Mayor Docket Book series
