Interview with Ruth Susan Nagel Vorgang

Description: A high school senior at the time of the flood, Ruth Susan Nagel Vogang tells of her adventures as she and her sister were separated from their parents and sent to first to Charlestown and then north with an uncle to Indianapolis during the flood. She rode the box cars, sitting on a crate and holding someone elses baby during the trip. Both Ruth and her husband James Girard Vorgang were known by their second names. The thumbnail image was located in her senior high yearbook.
