This is an aerial view of the Riverview Park (in the center) and Riverview Elementary School (above the park) taken facing north toward the St. Joseph River. The school located at 2509 Wood St. was built in 1952 but underwent renovation in 1984. The park located at Riverview Ave. and Superior St. was acquired on March 30, 1959. One of the parks special features was a skating area. |
