West Jackson Blvd, 100 block

Description:	Only one of the buildings visible in the first photo of this set is still standing today. It was built in 1868 to serve as the post office and did so until 1886. Today it houses a garden supplies store. The buildings in the right of the picture contained a bicycle shop, a fish market, and a shooting gallery. They were torn down to make way for a new post office, which opened in 1905. The 1905 post office serves as a bank today.
