Prairie Street Mennonite Church

Shown is the first meeting house (opened in 1871) of the Prairie Street Mennonite Church, located at 1316 Prairie Street. A fire in 1931 caused extensive damage requiring that the remains be torn down. A new church was constructed on the same site. It is reported that the present church contains pieces of the original from foundation to timber. |
