Cinderella nesting dolls

Description:	Nesting dolls, first made in Russia, were quickly adopted by the Polish culture. Nesting dolls have developed to become a strong part of Polish folk art. Unlike their Russian counterparts, which are very delicate, detailed and artistic, Polish nesting dolls function more as childrens toys instead of art and are very solid. Fairy tale themes, like these Cinderella dolls made about 1970, are very popular subjects for nesting dolls.
