The wolverine lives in the Western USA, Scandinavia, Alaska, Canada, and Siberia. It is a heavily built animal, very strong, and able to kill animals much larger than itself. They are ground dwelling and mainly solitary animals. Wolverines have been known to climb trees as well. They have large pads and claws on their feet, which allow them to run very fast, even in snow. They have been clocked at thirty miles an hour. |
