Mosasaurs were reptiles that that were adapted to life in the seas during the Cretaceous Period. These animals had sharp teeth, used to kill and eat fish and soft bodied cephalopods, but also hard shelled ammonites could be cracked open. While T. rex was the dominate predator on land at this time, the Mosasaur would have been the dominant predator in the oceans. |
