Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1) 2101 N Alabama, medical emergency. 2) Ambulance needed at 700 N Pennsylvania, American Legion. 3) Several calls asking for shop, test calls. 4) Hydrant out of service at 1038 S Keeling. 5) 2520 Ryan Dr, help requested. 6) John Lenihan asks dispatcher to have someone call him. 7) Telephone company calls to say theyre moving a firebox to Hancock & McCarty. 8) Caller asks for Clyde Fiester of arson squad. Recording ends at 10:36 AM.
