Description:	This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. At Michigan and Capital a woman reported struck by automobile. 2. Call about assisting cat stuck in tree, caller given number to humane society. 3. Heart patient at 5915 Village Plaza South Drive needs assistance. 4. Call with fire station engineer about station alarm box repair issues. 5. Call discussing the damage to Hygrade site. 6. Dispatcher discusses fire and medical reports for IFD with another firefighter, as well as the disposal of old water map documents. Dictabelt
