Description: This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt:1. Caller asking about building on 16th and Carrolton, if this was a firehouse. Dispatcher tells him it was the 16ths firehouse. 2. Several calls asking for call transfer to other firehouses. 3. Call requesting three tanks for 100% oxygen and a section of 1 � inch hose to repair a hose line. 4. Journalist from Lebanon reporter calls asking for information. 5. Inured man reported at 1744 East Raymond Street, ambulance dispatched. 6. Woman calling to ask for information on shoe donation to poor children. 7. Damaged hydrant at 100 South Bradley reported. Follow up calls about this hydrant. 8. Hydrants out of service announced at Southwest corner of New York and Delaware streets.
