This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1.) Police dispatcher calls asking for engine 5 information in relation to a collision at 22 and Illinois; collision part of Here apartment firefighting efforts at 3900 Shadeland. 2.) Confusion about status and deployment of car 5 at 3900 North Shadeland. 3.) Visit to 1106 Belleview, George Bouden of Spencer Indiana, incendiary fire inside caused by arson loss of 2000 dollars in damage. 4.) Calls to hose tenders about status of hoses. 5.) Dispatcher makes personal call to daughter to check in, ask about dog and plans tomorrow. 6.) Man on 936 Virginia Avenue going out of his mind in front of tavern, caller mentions man being a veteran.
