This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1.) Call over the radio to all units and departments to report to 3900 North Shadeland Here Apartments, three alarm fire. 2.) Squad 14 to Dispatcher, request for three ambulances right away. 3.) Urgent call to all squads to converge on 38th and Pendleton Pike to fight Here Fire. Further directions and instructions to individual squads. 4.) Water plugs in Here fire vicinity at capacity. 5.) Interchange of messages to individual squads, districts, and stations to organize firefighting efforts. 6.) Ambulance 31-55 North Wallace, unconscious woman. 7.)
