Description:	This is a digitized recording of a dictabelt, which the Indianapolis Fire Department used to record dispatch calls during the 1960s and 1970s. Following are the calls on this dictabelt: 1.) Unit 21 still at fire. 2.) Property owner in Browns Hill area, A. W. Rahn, asking permission from Fire Chief for an open fire to destroy branch and leaf debris from high school students clearing up vacant lot. Further chatter about this topic. 3.) Fog out at 3024 North Pennsylvania. 4.) Woman unconscious at 20 West Washington. 5.) Call to Ken Sharpe, Assistant Chief, informing him about request to burn brush waste from A. W. Rahn and others, permission not given. 6.) Lady having heart attack, 1512 North Pennsylvania Apartment 10. 7.) Additional fire truck to 3900 Shadeland due to three alarm fire. 8.) Paulie, police car to 111 West 40th Street. 9.) 1010 West 33rd Street, woman�s mother could not breath. 10.) Call from service station owner about young boys buying gasoline. 11.) International Harvester Company representative asking about information on employee who is a resident in Here Apartments. Dictabelt
