Description: This photograph shows the aftermath of a flood in downtown Corydon, Indiana, sometime during the 1930s. The view is west on Chestnut Street near its intersection with Capitol Avenue. The two-story, frame building at left was the law office of Blaine Hays (razed 1978). In the background is the Kintner House, which sits at the southwest corner of Capitol Avenue and Chestnut.
