Description: |
This photograph of West Walnut Street in Corydon, Indiana, shows the muddy conditions left from a flood. The date of the photograph is unknown, but it appears to date to the 1930s. It could possibly be the 1937 flood. Leo Cromwell’s service station, visible on the left, was built at the corner of West Walnut and Oak Streets in 1927. The large two-story house was that of the Slemons family. |
