Early 1900s flood, Corydon, Indiana, south bridge, Market Street

Description: This photograph shows a view of what is now South Capitol Avenue in Corydon, Indiana, during an early 1900s flood. The view is to the south towards the south bridge over Little Indian Creek. A group of people stand on the bridge. This bridge was constructed ca. 1880 and razed in 1912. Flood waters cover the street leading to the bridge and men on both sides of the road stand outside near commercial buildings.
