| Description: |
This file contains two documents regarding an allowance owed to William Donnica. The first bill was for $34.25, which included renting rooms in his house for the county jail and acting as jailer. Those jailed included John Mosby, Joseph Levron, and Frederick (Green?). The second bill was for 444 feet of scantling ($15.54) for use of the courthouse and $1.25 for repairing a wheelbarrow. Page 39 of the Knox County Minute Book, 1811-1817, indicates that on January 27, 1812 Dunnica was paid a total of $51.04 for the 2 bills. |
