This is a bill filed by Henry Vanderburgh for hauling scaffold, gangway, and range poles for building the courthouse in June and July 1810. Up to 2 wagons and 3 men were employed for hauling the poles. The Minute Book of Common Pleas, 1807-1810, page 249, notes that sheriff John McCandless was ordered to pay Vanderburgh $18 for hauling the poles. |
