Broaner, John, bond as constable

Description: This file contains the bond and court cost bill for John Bruner to become a constable under Sheriff John McCandless. The bond, for $300, was signed and witnessed by court clerk Robert Buntin on January 9, 1811. John Bruner and William Dunica also signed. According to the Minute Book of Common Pleas, 1807-1810, page 270, John Bruner signed his bond as constable with William Dunica as his security and was sworn according to the law in open court.
