John Didary petition for naturalization 1841

Description:	The file contains the petition for naturalization of John Didary[Dedre, Dedrie] on February 23, 1841. The petition states that John Didray [Dedre, Dedrie] was born in Anaurt, Belgium [France, Poland] March 6, 1808 and was 31 years of age. He was a member of the Belgium nation. He migrated from Havra DeGrass to the United States and arrived at the port of New York on or about the 24 day of June 1833. It is his intention to settle in Indiana. It is his intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince. This was sworn before W.R. McCord, Clerk.
