Description: |
A letter written in French to Antoine Laselle in Detroit August 1805. A rough translation might be: Sir, You shall know that Arison [Arpin] has taken back his house. He told me that he will make arrangements with you about payment. I have made around fifteen packages. I cannot do much more right now since I have already left. Nevertheless, you can come early in the morning, that will be the best for you. Your Servant, Hery Rain Bou (Henri Rambeau) |
