Richard Harrison, the administrator of the Charles Lloyd Chew estate of Anne Arundle County of Maryland has filed a Complaint of Trover and Conversion against Manuel de Lisa and his wife Mary (Chew) de Lisa. The complaint filed is seeking damages of two thousand dollars for one Negro girl call Mint about nineteen years, one girl called Deb about fourteen years old and one Negro boy called William, about fifteen years old. Included is a warrant for Manuel and Mary de Lisa to appear at the May Term of 1797, issued by Pierre Gamelin and signed by Robert Buntin, Clerk.
