Jonathan Griffen and Jacob Anthis, as administrators, are bound to the state of Indiana for $200 and executors on August 11, 1829. Ira Griffen is appointed by Probate Court to be the guardian of Mary Dolahan age 5, infant daughter of Miles Dolahan, deceased. The document is filed August 18, 1829. A notation on back states that $100 was deposited in Chancery Court on a decree of Dolahan vs Dolahan. A declaration by Jacob Anthis that Ira Griffin received only $100 as guardian of Mary Dolahan. After his death Elizabeth Griffen took over as guardian and has been wronged. A complaint by E. T. Ellis that Ira and Jacob Anthis have not done their duty as guardians to Mary Dolahan by not paying the state $200 as owed as guardians. A summons is issued for Jacob Anthis to answer questions in the suit Elizabeth Griffin, guardian of Mary Dolahan, in a plea of debt that is filed April 2, 1835.
