Description:	Civil court case in which Marie Therese Cardinal Vachet, administrator of Francois Vachet, was suing Vetal Boucher, administrator of Pierre Vachet, for $400.00 damages for an unpaid debt. The original debt was from 1778. An account lists the items as a fusil (flintlock musket), powder horn, bullet pouch, and brass kettle. A horse and canoe are mentioned as well as lodging costs. Boucher represented himself in court. According to the Minute Book, the defendant confessed judgment of $168.33.
