Description: This is the Grand Army of the Republic application of Findolon Kofades, dated September 1, 1892. Findolon enlisted on July 5, 1864 as a Private in Company K 4th Regiment of the Kentucky Militia (?) Infantry and was discharged on August 17, 1865. Findolons application was recommended by Jerome Anderson. Examining Committee members were V.G. Dickhout, T.H. McConkle and John C. Haas. Applicant Elected and Mustered September 1, 1892. No. on Des. Book: 651. Adjutant and Post Commander information omitted. NOTE: On Back first name spelled Fnidolon.
