BilbyPresident and Chief Executive OfficerSeahawk Biosystems CorporationAustin, TexasCurt Bilby has had a highly successful career as an entrepreneur and executive manager inthe biotechnology, life sciences and information technology fields domestically and in Europe.He is currently president and chief executive officer of Seahawk Biosystems, a biotechnologycompany developing biosensors for various assays that include antibody and DNA/RNA tests.The company is focused on the intelligence, homeland security and biodefense sectors in additionto developing applications for other commercial markets, such as the detection and diagnosticsof zoonotic and pandemic diseases.Prior to his current position with Seahawk Biosystems, Bilby was the chairman and chiefexecutive officer of Evacyte Corporation, an award-winning company focused on cancer diagnostics.He has also served as president, directeur general at the multi-national life sciencescompany Eurimed, S.A. headquartered in Paris, France. The company provides informationand laboratory services to clinical research organizations and medical specialists in Europe.He has also held similar positions with Ambac Connect, a supplier to clinical research laboratories,and Bilby was the co-founder of Arrowsmith Technologies, a leading provider of CPSbasedworkforce management systems.Bilby graduated from Rose-Hulman in 1982 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanicalengineering. He received a masters degree from Auburn University and earned the Ph.D.from the University of Texas at Austin. He received the Rose-Hulman Distinguished YoungAlumnus Award in 2002.Honorary Doctor of Humane LettersDennis C. CuneoSenior Vice PresidentToyota Motor North America, IncorporatedNew York, New YorkIn his current position, Cuneo oversees administration, corporate communications, industryand government affairs, planning, research and the Latin America Research and CustomerService Group for Toyota Motor North America (TMA). He is also Toyota Motor NorthAmericas chief environmental officer and serves as corporate secretary. Cuneo reports to thepresident and CEO of Toyota North America.Cuneo began his career with Toyota 22 years ago. He was a member of the managementteam that started NUMMI, the Toyota-General Motors join venture that was Toyotas firstassembly plant in North America. In 1996, he was transferred to Toyotas newly created NorthAmerican manufacturing headquarters, Toyota Manufacturing North America (TMMNA) aspart of the start-up team.He was promoted to senior vice president of TMMNA in 2002, and continues to split hisduties between TMA and TMMNA. He was Toyotas lead person in negotiating with the Stateof Indiana to establish Toyota production at the SIA plant in Lafayette, as well as expansions ofthe companys Princeton, Indiana, plant. He also led the site selection teams for Toyotas newplants in Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, and Baja, Mexico.Prior to his career with Toyota, Cuneo was an attorney in the Antitrust Division of theUnited States Department of Justice. In 2002, Rose-Hulman presented Cuneo with theChauncey Rose Award for his contributions to the American free enterprise system.Honorary Doctor of Humane LettersN. Clay RobbinsPresidentLilly Endowment Inc.Indianapolis, IndianaN. Clay Robbins has served as the president of the Lilly Endowment since 1994. TheEndowment is an Indianapolis-based, private philanthropic foundation created by members ofthe Lilly family through gifts of stock in the pharmaceutical business, Eli Lilly and Company.Robbins joined the Endowment staff in 1993 as vice president for community developmentto supervise that divisions grantmaking activities. He was elected to the Endowments Boardof Directors in 1999.Prior to his appointment at the Endowment, Robbins was a partner in the Indianapolis lawfirm of Baker & Daniels. He focused his law practice on tax-exempt organizations, estate andgift tax, and immigration law.Robbins served on the drafting committee for the Indiana Nonprofit Corporation Act of1991. As a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, he has served as chairman of the associationsinternational law section.Active as a community volunteer leader, Robbins is a member of the board and executivecommittee of the United Way of Central Indiana, and serves as a board member for theIndianapolis Chamber of Commerce and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership. He previouslyserved as a director of Damar Homes, Inc., a nonprofit residential program providingservices to school-aged children and young adults with developmental disabilities. He is alsoa former director and president of the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra.Robbins graduated from Wabash College in 1979.
