Labor Day parade going down State Street in Princeton, Indiana, July 29, 1926.

Description: A United States flag perched on the striped front of the Union Barbershop float led the way as the Labor Day parade proceeded around the south side of the square on State Street in Princeton, Indiana. The Walsh Decorating Co. and McCulloughs Cafe businesses were on that side of the square. Nine men walked beside or behind the first float. They were followed by three cars and men lined up in rows marched side by side. The sidewalks were lined with flags and were full of people, men,women and children. The men were dressed in light colored shirts and pants, or suits, and many wore ties and caps or hats. The women were attired in dresses.
